Dear Patients:
The change from work to retirement was a long slow process of investigation and discovery. Now suddenly, it is upon me. After much thoughtful consideration, I have decided to retire from practice with Asheville Urological on September 1, 2023.
I want to thank everyone who’s been a part of my life at Asheville Urological over the last 15 years. To all my patients who have given me the gift of allowing me to participate in your lives, sharing the highs, the lows, and the miracles. (I apologize again for keeping you waiting!) To my partners and staff who have supported me in endeavoring to give the highest level of care I could, at that moment, deliver. And to my wife and family for putting up with my craziness!
Fortunately, change also means new beginnings. I am pleased to announce that Dr. Dominic Grimberg will be joining Asheville Urological in September for a seamless transition in your care. Dr. Grimberg is a graduate of Cornell University, Case Western Reserve School of Medicine, and completed his urology residency at Duke University. Dr. Grimberg is excited about joining Asheville Urological and our community here in Asheville. He is very well trained, shares our philosophy about patient care and so will be a good fit with our practice.
As is the practice of Asheville Urological, you are free to change to another physician within the practice and medical records will be available to anyone who chooses to get their urological care elsewhere. Your medical records are confidential, and a copy can be transferred to another doctor or released to you or to another person you designate with your permission. If you plan to continue your urological care with our office, you can contact our office to schedule an appointment. If you choose to see a different urology office, please notify our office at 828-253-5314 to request your records be forwarded to the new provider.
