A native of Forest, MS, Dr. Burns attended Ole Miss for his undergraduate studies. Dr.Burns has practiced urology in Asheville since 2018. Dr. Burns' special interests include the diagnosis and treatment of genitourinary cancers, open/robotic/laparoscopic surgery, reconstructive surgery of the kidney and ureter, treatment and prevention of kidney stones, and management of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). Dr. Burns is board certified by the American Board of Urology and is a member of the American Urological Association and Society of Urologic Oncology.
