A native of West Jefferson, NC, Dr. Bare completed his undergraduate studies at Wake Forest University in Winston Salem, NC. He remained on the teaching faculty of the Wake Forest University Department of Urology as a member of a Multidisciplinary Urologic Oncology Team before moving to Asheville. Dr. Bare has practiced urology in Asheville since 1998. Dr. Bare is board certified by the American Board of Urology and is a member of the American Urological Association.
Dr. Bare is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS).
